Commercial and Technical Due Diligence: Large international telecoms provider
Avanti Consulting has undertaken several detailed assessments of an international telecommunication providers satellite system. This entailed detailed analysis of satellite capacity, demand, cost and implementation, and provided the client with recommendations to improve both the technical performance of the network and the cost of the service provided by its suppliers.
Avanti Consulting also provided a commercial review of the satellite capacity for a particular region of importantance to our costomer's international network, which included analysis of the pricing available and a review of all providers for that region. To assist in the pricing negotiations we obtained specific information on DS3 circuit capacity and cost, and examined the options from several suppliers including Intelsat, Measat and New Skies. We also provided details of teleport service fees for T1, DS3, and 6 Mbps. To assist in the client's negotiation with suppliers, we provided market intelligence and expected capacity demand for the region.
